Carpenedo is on top of the world thanks to one of its masterpiece blue cheeses, Basajo®, which won the Super Gold award from among more than 4000 cheeses representing 45 countries at the 2021 World Cheese Awards in Oviedo, Spain. A jury of 230 journalists, experts and industry professionals crowned Basajo® with one of the most recognised awards in the world of cheese, choosing it as the best of all the gold medals in the competition.
